When we returned to Gatwick Airport (I'd booked a 18.10 pick up) the driver wasn't there again. This time however, they had subcontracted the service to a local taxi service perfectly pleasant chap, but a dirty taxi is not what I'd paid for and he told us we could have booked him directly for significantly less.

I'd used Zip Transfers in the past which is why when I booked them to pick me up from Gatwick Airport when I flew back from Montpelier in the spring and the driver was 40 minutes late, I assumed it was a 'one off' and gave them a second chance when we recently flew to Seville. They are courteous, efficient, and reasonably priced. We highly recommend ZIP for anyone's transfer needs. He got us to our destination in record time (usually an hour trip we had been told accomplished in 40 minutes) and helped us find the Bed and Breakfast where we were staying, which was neatly tucked away on the third floor of a commercial center. Our driver did not speak English, nor did he seem to understand much. Our last trip with ZIP was from the Rome airport to the port of Rome. Our driver was early, helped with our luggage, and was courteous and efficient in getting us to airport on time. Our second trip with ZIP was from our London accommodations back to Heathrow. Thankfully, our driver was willing to wait for us. Zip continued to check with us to ensure how much longer it would be before we were able to meet our driver. Our plane was delayed, and because of understaffing, it took us three hours to get through passport control. Our first transfer was from Heathrow to our accommodations in London. We used Zip Transfers three times during our recent vacation.
Please avoid this company at all costs and look elsewhere or use local taxis in Tenerife. They blankly refused and said that was the price we had to pay and they would do nothing further in the matter. I contacted them when I got home and flagged using maps how this must be an error and perhaps they had charged us twice in error. We even asked local taxi firms and they said €25-30 max should be the cost from villa to airport and not €144 round trip that this company charged.

Having used taxis for the full holiday we did this additional trip daily and it was around €1-2 max extra and certainly not €70. But with us not knowing we were not happy but trusted there local knowledge and assumed it was quite a difference away given such a large price increase. Even though I said I selected the address of the villa they demanded a further €70 on top of the €74 already paid for what turned out to be an extra 2 minute journey.
They had sent a further email saying that the location is wrong and the price is understated and wont be picking us up. We got to the airport in Manchester at 4.30am waiting in the lounge for the 7am flight and by chance I checked my email. We paid and confirmed this and didn't hear anything back until 2 days before we were due to fly, stating that they couldn't pick us up on the return trip from our villa and we had to walk 5 minutes down the road to a different location with our luggage. They came back with a price of €74 round trip, which felt on the high side but broadly aligned with expectation. I chose Adeje as this is what was in the address. I keyed in the full postal address I was given and the website then gives you a drop down option of the local town to select. I used this company to book a 6 seater car from the airport in Tenerife to the villa we had, back in June, but not travelling until August.
